Week 3

End of Bojack (spoilers)

I finished Bojack Horseman a few days ago, and it had a good ending. I feel like the main message of the end of the series was that life goes on and that things happen for a reason. Every character in the show has their own life unconnected to Bojack, and they wouldn’t have gotten to their happy endings without all the bad things they went through. In life there really isn’t any other option than to keep moving forward. I’m happy they didn’t kill Bojack at the end of the show. I think dying would have been an easy escape for Bojack. I mean, dying isn’t necessarily easy, but I’m happy he can take responsibility for what he has done by living through it.

A Series of Fortunate Episodes

I started watching A Series of Unfortunate Events, and let me tell you, it’s very good, sublime, and stupendous. The show is aware of what it is and it’s a very humorous show while still supposedly showing a ghastly, horrifying, and terrifying tale. Characters in the show use moderately uncommon words (but those that most people still know) and then they define them for the main characters, but they always know what it means because the words aren’t super uncommon. It’s interesting because the characters also just use big words in general, but the characters in the show (besides the main three) are dumb, ignorant, and clods. Anyways, it’s a good watch, and I recommend it.

Summer Homework

I have to do spanish homework, and read two books before the end of summer. It’s not that the homework is that bad, but I just have a lot of programs I’m doing, so my time is taken up. I’m not surprised my English teacher is making me read two books before the start of school, she’s a tough teacher. I guess this is what I signed up for, so I have no reason to complain, it’s just that a girl’s tired, you know? I have to read a passage of a book I already read in English for my Spanish class, so at least I’ll get through that fast.
