What TV Show or Movie World Would I Live in?

So an obvious answer is Avatar the Last Airbender. I mean, what other choice do I have? Avatar has a nice magic system. A lot of the people have bending, and while it’s possible to just be naturally good at it, you can also become good by practicing. It’s one of the only magic systems that I would actually be interested in testing out. The magic also seems less arbitrary than some other magic systems. Like, I love Naruto, but there are almost infinite powers and abilities that someone can have. I feel like I could either get super lucky and be strong, or I could end up super weak. Another thing I like about the avatar world is that it feels real. The show has so much worldbuilding and cultural influences. It feels like a world where I could actually stay in, get a job, fall in love, and just genuinely be happy.

Another reason I chose avatar is that it’s dangerous but not too dangerous. Like, people can randomly attack you, but that probably won’t happen. Also, if they did (and if you’re a bender), you could just fight back. I know that the fire nation was pretty much taking over the world and that fire lord Ozai was going to kill everything, but there’s an avatar, a guaranteed hero, to fight him back. In a world where there’s danger, and possibly immense danger, there will always be an avatar who will try to bring peace and balance. I was thinking about all these other shows/books/movies I’ve watched/read, Death Note, Naruto, Star vs The Forces Of Evil, My Little Pony, Steven Universe, Divergent, Maze Runner, Hunger Games etc., and I was thinking how dangerous those worlds are. A lot of those worlds focus power on one or a few people and everyone else is defenseless. Living in those worlds means I most likely wouldn’t be near the magic (boring), and I might just randomly die. Star Vs The Forces Of Evil isn’t as dangerous, and if I had the magic wand, I might have fun in that world, but then again, only like 1 person has one. Miraculous Ladybug would be fun to live in if I had powers. But also, I don’t have time to save the world and be a teenager in school.

The second world is Harry Potter. This world is pretty dangerous, not gonna lie. But this world is also fleshed out and there’s so much I’d want to explore. The Harry Potter world at Disney was super fun when I was a little kid. I like this world because the people with magic are just people with magic, and there’s a decent chance you’ll be born into a magical family. I like that some people are just powerful, but again, you can become better at it. Also, something about how wizard things are magical is so charming. Plus, I could get sorted by THE sorting hat. I took the official pottermore test, twice actually (but like a year apart), and I got gryffindor both times. At first I was surprised but now I embrace being a gryffindor. I love the camaraderie and general friendliness the gryffindors have with each other (and hufflepuffs). The warmth and community of the Harry Potter world is what’s really magical. Honestly, I think that’s why Harry Potter books are so popular. If they weren’t warm, why would anyone read a story about a boy from ages 11 to 17 (almost 18 at the end)? But since it is dangerous, maybe I’d do my classes from home. Or maybe I’d just keep a time turner handy.

(By the way, my patronus is an owl or a blackbird. I forgot which one.)
